Dr. Muhammad Shakir, a PhD graduate from Islamia University of Bahawalpur, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Training at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. He has led numerous funded research projects focusing on National Teaching Standards, Teacher Evaluation, Curriculum Development, Literacy Practices, and Civic Engagement.
The World Literacy Summit is an Initiative of the World Literacy Foundation, a global nonprofit organisation that works to ensure every young individual regardless of geographic location has the opportunity to acquire literacy and reading skills to reach their full potential, succeed at school and beyond.
