Mark Vineis is the President and Chief Executive Officer of ProLiteracy Worldwide, the largest adult literacy nonprofit organization in the nation and a leader in adult literacy resources, programs, and advocacy. Since 2021, he’s been responsible for the continued scaling of ProLiteracy into its next chapter of impact in adult literacy.

Vineis founded Mondo Education which began as a professional development organization and evolved into a creator of supplemental, core, and digital tools for the K-12 English Language Arts sector. In 2018, Vineis led the sale of Mondo to Carnegie Learning and served as Managing Director of Mondo Education and K-12 ELA. Vineis is an active MD and mentor of the StartED EdTech accelerator and is one of the Producers of EdTech Week. Mark has consulted with EdTech stakeholders across the sector and is a dedicated adult literacy tutor. At ProLiteracy, he’s passionate about developing innovative literacy, ESL and workforce learning tools to help adult learners reach their highest potential
