Annilea Purser is an award-winning advocate and researcher from British Columbia, Canada. She presently researches First Nations education rights at the University of Victoria where her work is funded by a national research grant. The founder of The BookWorm Initiative, she has executed numerous campaigns to support literacy development globally.
The World Literacy Summit is an Initiative of the World Literacy Foundation, a global nonprofit organisation that works to ensure every young individual regardless of geographic location has the opportunity to acquire literacy and reading skills to reach their full potential, succeed at school and beyond.
